The
Powell Butte Charter School Board has approved a 3 full-day kindergarten program: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Work will continue to get external funding to provide a five-day program.

VISION STATEMENT
Powell
Butte Community Charter School will be a model for other community schools that struggle to maintain their rural identity
by systematically and intentionally integrating place-based education and service learning into a quality,
standards-based, care curriculum. The goal is to help students make connections between what they learn and how they
live by solving real life problems and meeting authentic needs in the community.
MISSION
STATEMENT
To provide quality educational programming grounded in "place" and
supported by rigorous academics, community service, and stewardship of our natural resources to assure students achieve their
highest potential as citizens and leaders of the local community and the world.
